Common substances with strong oxidizing properties are: peracetic acid, ozone water, and chlorine water. The instantaneous sterilization properties of ozone are better than chlorine. At present, peracetic acid and ozone water are basically selected as the sterilized water for plastic bottle cap sterilization, and most of them are peracetic acid. The greater the concentration of sterilized water, the shorter the required sterilization time. About 65 ° C 2000PPM peroxyacetic acid, through 30 seconds to 60 seconds of sterilization, the bottle cap can reach the requirements of commercial sterility. The main methods of sterilizing plastic bottle caps with sterilized water are spray type and immersion type.

The spray flushing method uses multiple sets of nozzles to spray sterilized water from multiple directions of the bottle cap to sterilize the appearance of the bottle cap. The time that the bottle cap is subjected to spraying should ensure that the microorganisms can be completely killed. The specific method is: enter the bottle cap track uniformly through the cap direction after capping, and there are multiple groups of nozzles on the upper and lower sides of the track. Each group of nozzles can spray sterilized water on the bottle cap from different angles, and spray the sterilized water. Sterilize the caps and push the caps along the track. When peroxyacetic acid is used as sterilized water, the bottle caps after spraying with sterilized water need to be washed by sterile water to remove the residual peroxyacetic acid on the bottle caps so that the residual amount is lower than the relevant specifications; sterile water After flushing, dry the cap with sterile air. When ozone water is used as sterilized water, since the products decomposed by ozone water are water and oxygen, there is no harmful residual substance. In theory, there is no need to reprocess the bottle caps. However, in the actual production process, the bottle caps are sterilized. The outlet of the machine is close to the capping machine, and the residual ozone cannot be completely decomposed. Therefore, after the bottle cap is sterilized by ozone water, it needs to be treated with sterile water flushing and dry air. Due to the linearity of spray water, sterile water spray sterilization can be used for mineral water bottle sterilization, and can also be used for bottle sterilization during hot filling of tea drinks and fruit juice beverages. For hot filling, full bottle filling is used. After filling and capping, the bottle is heated and the bottle cap is heated for internal sterilization.

The immersion type is to completely immerse the plastic bottle cap in sterilized water, so that all the inside and outside of the bottle cap are sterilized with sterilized water. The immersion time should meet the time requirement for complete sterilization of the bottle cap. One method is: the bottle caps with the same direction are fixed on the bottle cap rack, the bottle cap rack is connected to the chain, and the movement of the chain drives the bottle cap rack into the sterilization tank containing sterilized water and completely soaks the cap The immersion time in bacteria water should meet the time requirement for complete sterilization. As with the spray sterilization method, the bottle caps soaked with sterilized water also require the spray washing of sterile water and the spraying of sterile air to make the bottle caps dry and sterile. When using the sterile water sterilization method, it is required to make and process the supporting sterilized water, sterile water, and sterile air.
